The text sets out the general construction principles for thunder talismans (lei fu 雷符) without reproducing the operational glyphs.
Each talisman has three structural zones: (1) the *upper register* contains heavenly seal-script (tian zhuan 天篆) — graphs revealed to be the original celestial writing of the cosmos, ungraspable by ordinary literacy;
(2) the *central register* bears the registered name of the summoned spirit, written in red cinnabar on yellow paper;
(3) the *lower register* bears the sealing-mark (feng ya 封押), which functions as the practitioner's bureaucratic signature authorizing the spirit's deployment.
